Do you offer custom landscape designs?

All of our designs are fully custom and tailored to your vision, property layout, and lifestyle needs.

What does your design process look like, and how long does it take?

It starts with an on-site consultation to review your overall goals and budget. After you have signed a design agreement, your designer will develop a concept that will be presented to you in person. During this meeting we will spend extensive time walking through your project and any final revisions. Depending on the timeline, you may also review a detailed proposal. The full process typically takes 4–6 weeks depending on project size and scope.

Can I see examples of your past design work or a portfolio?

Yes, we’re happy to share our portfolio, which includes a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Do you provide 2D or 3D renderings of the design?

We offer both 2D plans and optional 3D renderings to help you fully visualize your future landscape.

Can you install lighting, irrigation systems, or hardscaping (patios, walkways, etc.)?

Yes, we install all of those. We work with trusted trades or handle them in-house, depending on the scope.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance after installation?

Yes, we highly recommend transitioning to a maintenance plan to protect your investment and keep your landscape looking its best.

Can you incorporate existing features (trees, patios, pools) into the new design?

Yes, we can design around and enhance your existing features while seamlessly blending them into the new plan.

Do you handle permitting and HOA approvals?

Yes, we can assist with HOA submittals and coordinate any necessary city or county permitting as part of the project.

Are you licensed and insured for installation work?

Yes, we are fully licensed, bonded, and insured for all aspects of landscape design and construction. Please ask your Total Environment representative if you would like a copy of our certificate of insurance.

Do you offer design-only services, or is installation required?

We offer both. You can purchase a design-only package or hire us for both design and installation.
