Renovations & Specialty Installations

Landscapes evolve, and sometimes an existing outdoor space needs more than routine maintenance to reach its full potential. Total Environment provides landscape renovations and specialty installations that improve appearance, functionality and long-term performance. From refreshed plantings to distinctive landscape features, we help transform outdated or underperforming spaces into environments that better serve the property today.

Give an Existing Landscape New Life

A landscape does not always need to start from scratch. Mature properties often have valuable elements worth preserving alongside areas that no longer function or look as intended.

Our renovation approach considers what is working, what needs improvement and how new elements can integrate with the existing property. The result is a thoughtful transformation that builds on the landscape rather than simply replacing it.

Landscape Renovation & Specialty Services

Each renovation is tailored to the existing site, project goals and opportunities within the landscape.

Landscape Refreshes

Over time, plantings can become overgrown, outdated or poorly suited to changing site conditions. Strategic updates can refresh the overall appearance while preserving established features that continue to add value.

Planting Renovations

Updated trees, shrubs, perennials and ornamental plantings can introduce new color, texture and structure. Plant selections are considered in relation to the existing landscape and long-term growing conditions.

Functional Improvements

A renovation is an opportunity to address more than appearance. Landscape improvements can enhance circulation, usability and the relationship between outdoor spaces, helping the property function better for the people who use it.

Specialty Installations

Distinctive features can give a landscape character and create memorable focal points. Our design and installation capabilities allow specialty elements to be thoughtfully integrated into the larger outdoor environment.

Modernize Without Losing What Makes the Property Distinctive

Successful landscape renovation requires understanding what should change and what should remain.

Total Environment evaluates the existing landscape as a whole, considering established plant material, architecture, irrigation, outdoor spaces and maintenance needs. This allows improvements to feel intentional and connected to the property rather than added as isolated upgrades.

A Design-Build-Maintain Approach

Total Environment's integrated Design-Build-Maintain capabilities allow renovation projects to be considered from multiple perspectives. Our team can think about how improvements will be designed, installed and maintained over the long term.

With capabilities spanning landscape design and installation, irrigation, lighting, plant health care and ongoing maintenance, we can coordinate improvements across the property while maintaining a cohesive vision.
